Fundación Kālida is located on the historic site of Barcelona’s modernist Sant Pau Hospital. Designed by Benedetta Tagliabue - EMBT Architects, it is the first Maggie’s centre in mainland Europe. Roca’s collaboration with Kālida combines design and functionality through user-friendly solutions that are safe, comfortable and efficient.
The foundation provides offers free care and support to cancer patients and their families. The design blends seamlessly into its surroundings, with communal areas and a quiet, fan-shaped ground floor with large windows overlooking the garden. This partnership demonstrates a commitment to societal betterment through wellbeing and innovation, which is reflected in the careful selection of Roca products, including Sofia washbasins paired with Lanta faucets and Luna Mirrors, and Meridian WCs complemented by PL6 Dual flush plates, as well as fittings from the Access and Victoria Pro collections chosen for their ergonomic qualities. All products are in harmony with the overall aesthetic of the centre, combining soothing neutrals with vibrant accents to promote relaxation and optimism.
